We have never heard of the company IMOVIO, but we would like to move our thoughts. Recently, IMOVIO presented the iKit, a miniature laptop, which will fit on the palm of your hand. Perhaps you saw the other Pocket PCs or mobile devices, which are smaller then iKit in size, but only iKit may be the smallest leptop compliance form factor. Its size is 95 x 65 x 15.5 mm and the weight is 113 grams. The device is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.8 “QVGA screen. Operating system here is Linux, with Marvell PXA270 312MHz processor and 64MB of RAM can be considered an excellent choice, as well as Windows XP here would not be very appropriate.

Among the communication capabilities iKit conains Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11b/g Wifi and the ability to use HSDPA based mobile internet services. It also contains removable micro-SD card for data storage and a video camera for VoIP video meetings.  Batteries should be sufficient for 3 hours. Frankly speaking, the device is so small that its hard to believe in some practical applications. But perhaps it will find its buyers. Moreover, the cost of iKit in the United States should be in the range of USD $170.

The company Shuttle announced the release of new desktop D 1416S in a small form factor, which has become the first company’s product line Special Solutions and aims to become a “think tank” system for the professional conduct of hidden video surveillance in enterprises or in private possession. According to the developers, they are very compact in size and the offspring of high-quality solutions is fully ready to receive, process, display and record incoming video from connected cameras, the maximum amount which can reach is 16 points.

The article is based on the recently officially presented platform Shuttle Barebone D10 and it is equipped with 7-inch LCD touch front panel display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and support for 262,144 colors. In addition, the model is equipped with preinstalled software Shuttle SecurityCenter, which interface specifically tailored to work effectively with this device, so there is no need for additional input devices, as the management of all functions can be done directly through the touch screen by using fingers. Notably, It has also the possibility of recording video in several modes and the preservation of captured material in different formats.

Motorola has launched its latest techfon, the analog iPhone. Presented at the photos of the development is called MotoPrizm and will be sold exclusively in Korea, at least at first. Phone don’t have any keyboard but a large touch screen on the entire front panel. There is also support for 3G (third-generation) networks, built-in DMB TV tuner, the function of E-Wallet, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.0 and microSD card slot for a maximum amount of still unknown data storage.

The presence of 3-megapixel camera with a standard set of functions and the display is 2.8 inches diagonal which supports permit 240 x 400 pixels and displays up to 262 thousand colors. MotoPrizm can sync with a computer through the USB-interface, and browse the Internet by not only using the wire connectivity but also by using WiFi module. It is still un-known when Motorola will launch this miracle phone in Europe, and how much it will cost.

Energizer Solar Cell based Charger can be misleading to look. Is this a device for charging the iPod? Or Charging the AA battery ? or The panel of solar cells? Well, for that matter, the device integrates all these functions in itself. At the heart of this device – there is a usual charger for the battery type AA and AAA using an alternating current from the solar cells.

USB-port is able to charge any connected device, including the music players and the iPod. The device can operate in all weather conditions thanks to the secure shell. This solar charger can also be charged by using AC power in case sun light is not available. Estimated cost of the device is about $ 50, complete with a device and two Energizer AA size Battery cells. The formal presentation of the device has been held at CES 2009.
