Shuttle D 1416S - A Mini System for Covert Surveillance

The company Shuttle announced the release of new desktop D 1416S in a small form factor, which has become the first company’s product line Special Solutions and aims to become a “think tank” system for the professional conduct of hidden video surveillance in enterprises or in private possession. According to the developers, they are very compact in size and the offspring of high-quality solutions is fully ready to receive, process, display and record incoming video from connected cameras, the maximum amount which can reach is 16 points.

The article is based on the recently officially presented platform Shuttle Barebone D10 and it is equipped with 7-inch LCD touch front panel display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and support for 262,144 colors. In addition, the model is equipped with preinstalled software Shuttle SecurityCenter, which interface specifically tailored to work effectively with this device, so there is no need for additional input devices, as the management of all functions can be done directly through the touch screen by using fingers. Notably, It has also the possibility of recording video in several modes and the preservation of captured material in different formats.
